Handheld Companion is a software that enhances the gaming experience on the ROG Ally. It is a combination of a Windows service and a touch-optimized GUI. In this blog, we’ll talk about how to install handheld companion on the ROG Ally.

How to install Handheld Companion on the ROG Ally?
Download Handheld Companion first. Scroll below and download the .exe.file
Follow the instructions on the installer and install the software. (if you receive a security message, just click on “Run anyway”.
It will download a few MS Redistributable files but when it is complete, you need to restart your Ally.
You might also want to install the Gyro drivers by downloading it from the same website.

And that’s it. Pretty easy, right? You can now fiddle with the settings and choose what kind of overlay you want or even change the TDP of your Ally!
